Business Policy

1. Who we are

AK Brands Marketing© is India’s B2B liquidation sourcing partner, operating since 2016, with a registered office in Davangere and a branch in Bangalore, Karnataka. We procure, market and manage surplus inventory transactions from start to finish. We are not a marketplace or a broker. When you book with us, you deal directly with AK Brands Marketing, with one point of contact from booking to delivery.

2. How buying works

1. Browse. Look at the lots in our catalogue or in our WhatsApp community. Each lot shows its lot number, quantity, minimum quantity, condition, and lot rate.
2. Book. Message us on WhatsApp with the lot number. We confirm availability and the final rate.
3. Pay. Payment follows the structure in our Buyer Protection Plan, which includes a part payment to book and a balance after a packing-video checkpoint.
4. Dispatch and delivery. We share the packing video within 2 to 3 days of booking, hand the goods to the courier or transport company within a further 2 to 3 days, and you get the tracking number or Bilty within 2 to 3 days after that. Delays can happen, as explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
5. Support. If something is wrong, report it within 2 days of receiving the stock. For any claim above the 10% tolerance, a 360-degree unboxing video is mandatory. See our Return & Refund Policy.

3. Our lot listings

• Lots go through our verification process before they are listed.
• Every lot is sold as is, where is. Up to 10% variance is standard and accepted at booking.
• Lots are sold at or above the stated minimum quantity.
• Rates are quoted per the unit shown, and GST and freight are dealt with as stated at booking.
• We do not own or represent any brand. See our Disclaimer.

4. Prices, taxes and payments

• We are GST registered, and tax invoices are issued as applicable.
• Pay only to the bank or UPI details that we have confirmed to you in writing, from our official WhatsApp number or email. If anyone asks you to pay to other details, do not pay, and contact us first.
• We will never ask for your card PIN, passwords or one-time passwords.

The full plan is pinned in our WhatsApp community and shared at booking.

6. Working with sellers

If you have surplus, excess or dead stock to clear, tell us about it through the Sell form on our website or on WhatsApp. We will review the stock and talk to you. The terms of any arrangement, including quantity, rate, timing and payment, are agreed in writing before any commitment is made. Submitting an enquiry does not oblige either side to buy or sell.

7. Standards we expect

• Serious buyers and sellers only. Please be honest and respectful in all communication.
• Do not share misleading, abusive, or unlawful content in our WhatsApp community.
• We may remove people from our community or decline to do business where these standards are not met.

8. Cancellations, disputes and governing law

A booking is a firm commitment, because we hold the lot for you and take it off sale. We do not entertain a change of mind after booking, and if a buyer cancels after booking, the amount paid at booking is not refunded. This is the normal practice in the liquidation lot trade. In certain cases, and at our discretion, we may refund the booking amount within 48 hours. The Buyer Protection Plan protections for non-delivery and for defects beyond the 10% tolerance are not affected. See also our Terms & Conditions.

We aim to settle any dispute through discussion first. These policies are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karnataka, India.
